1. Overview
MAB AI Strategies LLC ("MAB AI Strategies," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI automation consulting, custom workflow development, multi-agent system integration, and related professional services (the "Services") to business clients. Because our Services are customized, labor-intensive, and delivered on a project or subscription basis rather than as physical goods, this policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and disputes are handled.
2. Nature of Services
Our engagements typically fall into one of the following categories, each with different refund treatment:

3. Project-Based Engagements
- Deposits or upfront fees secure scheduling and initial discovery work and are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- If MAB AI Strategies fails to deliver an agreed milestone as defined in the applicable Statement of Work (SOW), the client may request a prorated refund for the undelivered portion only.
- No refunds will be issued for completed milestones, delivered code, deployed automations, or configuration work already performed, whether or not the client ultimately adopts the solution.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 calendar days of the disputed invoice date.
4. Subscription & Retainer Services
- Monthly or recurring automation, maintenance, and support retainers are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period once services for that period have begun.
- Clients may cancel a subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial-month refunds are issued.
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date will result in the standard recurring charge for the following cycle.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Third-party software licenses, API usage fees, cloud infrastructure costs (e.g., GPU compute, hosting), or platform subscriptions purchased or provisioned on the client's behalf.
- Custom code, workflows, prompts, or integrations that have already been delivered, deployed, or accessed by the client.
- Time spent on discovery, strategy, or consulting calls that have already occurred.
- Any service explicitly marked "non-refundable" in a signed proposal, invoice, or Statement of Work.
6. How to Request a Refund
- Email mark@mabaistrategies.com with your invoice number, project name, and reason for the request.
- Include any relevant documentation (SOW, delivery confirmations, communication history).
- We will review and respond within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
We encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer, as this policy is intended to resolve most disputes faster than the chargeback process. Unauthorized chargebacks for services already delivered may result in suspension of ongoing engagements.
8. Governing Law
This Refund & Return Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, consistent with the Terms of Service for MAB AI Strategies LLC.
